K Maybe

Up-tempo sad-rock from Brighton

Hi! We're K Maybe, the Brighton-based alt-rock 4-piece churning out catchy bangers and existential crises.

Like Muse meets the Cranberries but with Billy Corgan writing the solos. Or Cat Stevens with filthy guitars. Or Avril Lavigne if she was from Surrey.

We released our first EP in 2022 and a follow up, 'Sky to the Sea' in 2024. Our double A-side 'Hero / Hungry Lover's Heart' was released in January 2025.

We have gigged in Brighton, London and along the South Coast with bands including Bar Stool Preachers, CHROMA, Bugeye, I, Doris and Shallow Honey.

For fans of: Manic Street Preachers, The Cranberries, Muse, Placebo, Paramore, Suede

Press / Reviews

“Both tracks [have] got that wonderful melodic quality with a definitely strong, defiant message. Definitely, definitely songs for our time. Great, great stuff!”

— Wallace Dobbin, Louder Than War Radio, on 'Hero / Hungry Lover's Heart'

“The pacing was great, the delivery... was tight, this is a band who know how to deliver a great live performance and write great tracks.”

— Nick Linazasoro, Sussex News

“More or less covered every genre going, sometimes in the same song”

— Andy Cavendish, An Alternative Gathering (Promoter)
